Our team does a great job of keeping our holding tanks clean from algae and various ailments. We also perform quality checks prior to shipping plants! However, it is always possible that snails may be present. You should always clean and quarantine new plants thoroughly before introducing them to your aquarium. Snails are a natural part of the environment and are inevitable when dealing with live aquatic plants. No aquarium plant distributor/nursery/wholesaler/retailer can or will guarantee their plants to be 100% snail free. We can not guarantee our plants will be snail free.
In order to comply with USDA requirements regarding agricultural pests, some of our partner farms may use pesticides on potted/bunch plants that can also harm shrimp or other invertebrates. Extra rinsing or several days of soaking may be necessary before it is safe to add the new plants to your shrimp tank.
Please clean and quarantine plants before introducing them to your aquarium. Since we cannot guarantee that our plants do not have snails, we can't guarantee if our plants will have hitchhikers as well. We will release care guides and preparing plants guides soon. In the meantime, the internet has a wealth of information, a Google search will yield the information you need.
