Java Moss is an eco-friendly aquatic plant. Our Java Moss is sustainably sourced and farm-raised in South East Asia. It is one of the easiest aquatic mosses to care for and helps reduce ammonia and nitrates provide some dissolved oxygen. It grows in nearly every light level and one of the best starter aquatic mosses. When introduced in an aquatic terrarium, it will help convert it into an ecosystem. Java Moss will have some brown pieces mixed in with the green. Expect this, it is normal. CO2 will help yield better growth and coloration. 

Java Moss is a vibrant green moss that is particularly excellent for aquariums that house fish, snails, and dwarf shrimp, as it provides biofilm, hiding places, and security for all aquarium inhabitants. If you breed shrimp or fish, the fry will find vital refuge in the plant cover. It can also be grown along with the rear glass of your aquarium for an impressive live plant backdrop effect! Java Moss is very low-maintenance; it can be kept in any freshwater aquarium and does not need special supplementation or high-intensity lighting. Moss is very versatile and can be attached to hardscape or left free-floating

It is one of the easiest aquatic mosses to care for and helps reduce ammonia and nitrates and provide some dissolved oxygen. It grows in nearly every light level and one of the best starter aquatic mosses. When introduced in an aquatic terrarium, it will help convert it into an ecosystem.

This decor provides a dramatic effect to the aquascape in addition to the many practical benefits that it provides to the animals in the aquarium. The floating ball can be set to any height in the aquarium and the moss can be trimmed to the aquarist's liking. It is attached by a practically invisible fishing line to a plant anchor weight, which can be used to anchor plants and act as an additional decor to the piece. This decoration also provides a hangout spot for your shrimps and other animals.

The Floating Java Moss Ball comes in 1 inch (2.5 cm) diameter and includes a plant anchor weight and attached fishing line. Java Moss will have some brown pieces mixed in with the green. Expect this, it is normal.
